When it comes to rehabilitation and performance, you need the right experts to support your journey. But here’s the thing – not all professionals can be trusted, especially with options that have inconsistent track records and poor client response.
To help you find the best kinesiologists in Vancouver, we reviewed and compared client stories, visited facilities, and ran interviews. This list is a result of many weeks of research and we’re happy to finally share insights from our team.
These are the only kinesiologists worth considering!
How much does a kinesiology session cost in Vancouver?
The cost of a kinesiology session in Vancouver ranges from $90 to $130 for a 60-minute session.
Most places offer discounts for multiple sessions in a package or those booking for group settings.
1. Next Level Kinetics LTD

Location: 114-275 Fell Ave (inside Soul Fitness), North Vancouver
Contact: 604-626-5502 or 604-842-8176
Website
Next Level Kinetics landed on our radar with their clear and comprehensive approach to kinesiology. This husband-and-wife tandem focuses their service on 3 E’s: Educate, Empower, and Excite.
Following this philosophy, they offer personalized treatments to clients, which is rare to find in larger providers. We find this one-on-one approach to be extremely beneficial, considering they also offer pre/post-natal fitness rehabilitation, which can be a sensitive case.
Their service flexibility is also a major edge. Clients can book their sessions individually for a little more privacy and tailored treatments.
But there are also options to come as a pair or in small groups of about 5 to 6 people. This makes the service more accessible as the rates are slightly discounted per session.
Now, upon interviewing their clients, we were able to confirm the long-term improvements they were able to impart. In general, past and current clients noted significant changes in mobility and strength – one even noted losing 35 pounds prior to a complex surgery.
What’s even more remarkable to us is that they provide ongoing support, even after goals are reached. For instance, they offer lifestyle and nutrition advice via constant communication – they respond usually within 24 hours.
Prices, though, aren’t upfront. You have to contact them and communicate first before getting a confirmation (other places have rates in tiers based on session types). Still, it’s generally expected that the fees fall within the city range.
Passionate with fitness
“I was always into fitness. At some point, life got in in the way. Kevin is an excellent motivator, trainer, and person. His knowledge about how the body functions has been vital in helping me become more balanced and physically fit. His passion for fitness and his sense of humour make it so easy to look forward to every workout! Strong is the new sexy!”

Knowledgeable and supportive
“I’ve been working with Kevin for a few months now and he is both very knowledgeable and supportive. I’ve lost almost 20 lbs but more importantly I’m stronger, healthier and happier!”

Considering their expertise, we find Kin Lab to be a good choice for rehabilitation and performance training. This is because they specialize in injury recovery and athletic performance, often accommodating those healing from an accident.
We liked that their package options are well structured and clear too – clients can choose between solo or duo sessions. The rates are solid as well, with discounts offered the more sessions there are.
For instance, a single solo depression is $110, but it can go for as low as $90 per session for a 12-session package.
Just take note that the GST isn’t factored yet in these rates. We recommend reaching out to clarify the rates depending on the number of sessions you want to take.
As established, the place is a solid option for those recovering from surgeries. In support of this, we find their approach to be sufficient, already including strength and conditioning, sprint training, and weight loss management.
Happy with results
“Juan is professional and knowledgeable. We worked on stability that helped with my scoliosis. I have been working with Kin lab since Feb twice a week. I would say I am really happy with the result as my pain had decreased and increased with stability! I highly recommended this place and Juan!”

Good knowledge of the body
“Been coming here to see Juan and Cayden for over a year now. They are both amazing kinesiologists with good knowledge of the human body and are athletes in their own rights. Every time I go in, they ask and consider how I am physically feeling to adjust the exercises, while also pushing and encouraging me to improve. I highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks for putting up with my whining this past year, guys!”

3. West Coast Kinetics

Location: 3754 W 10th Ave

Opening Hours: Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Website
One of the most remarkable things about West Coast Kinetics is its thorough initial assessment. Rather than rushing into exercises, they discuss injuries and lifestyle habits to personalize plans.
Speaking of the plans, they offer a solid range of training options. Clients in general can join one-on-one personal training, partner workouts, and group kinesiology sessions.
This is something that won our favor since this also translates to more flexible pricing. For instance, one session costs $110, but when a client books a 24-session pack, the rates go as low as $94.
When it comes to groups, their class size is small, which enables more focused attention than larger fitness centers.
Apart from the programs, they also excel when it comes to their facility. It is exceptionally clean, which makes exercises much more comfortable. It has nice amenities too, including spacious showers.
We also appreciate that they can train in French, accommodating French-speaking clients easily.
However, this may not be the best option for those looking for a more specialized approach. The place tends to have a generalist approach, though that for us isn’t a major lapse in their offerings.
Challenging yet motivating
“Lydia-Rose is a great trainer! She took me through some specific goal based workouts, taking into consideration my limitations while still challenging and motivating me! I would highly recommend, definitely worth every dollar. The facility is great with everything you need and extremely well kept.”

Opening Hours: Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM | Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

One Performance Institute’s programs are some of the most comprehensive we’ve encountered. Apart from the thorough assessment, the structure is customized to incorporate specialized treatment approaches and progress updates.
To shine a light more on that, their Active Rehab (A/R) program involves physiotherapists, chiropractors, and kinesiologists who will collaborate to tailor the plan.
This ensures a smooth transition from injury rehab to full perfection, which is something that few facilities fail to carry out.
That established, they’re ideal for athletes (particularly related to figure skating) as the programs usually involve sport-specific drills. However, it’s important to note that they also work with non-athletes.
Another strong aspect is their flexible package pricing. On average, a single session costs about $110 an hour.
But what we like most is that long-term clients can fully maximize their savings. For instance, 8 sessions are discounted to about $860, while 16 sessions are discounted to only $1,632.
We just wished their front-desk staff was a lot more approachable and welcoming. Still, we find them to be a solid choice across all standards.
Personable and understanding
“Damian is a very personable trainer and I truly enjoyed working with him. He helped me regain strength in my injured shoulder as a result of a baseball injury. He always takes time to explain exercises and ensure I understand why I am doing each exercise. Would recommend him to anyone looking for strength training or recovery.”
-Brad Bishop | Google Reviews
Really cares for clients
“I had a great session with Erik, as well as a really informative workout demonstration with my lacrosse team at his facility. Erik is extremely professional and really cares for his clients. Would 100% recommend for any athlete looking to improve their strength or rehab any injuries!”

5. Platinum Pro Kinesiology

Location: 555 W 8th Ave #100

Platinum Pro wins our favor with their in-depth specialization, particularly with treating issues such as pain, tightness, and postural asymmetries.
This makes them ideal for those recovering from injuries through methods such as manual therapy and self-myofascial release.
We also find their sessions to be ideal for busy individuals. This is because they offer short, 30-minute sessions (the minimum for most are 60 minutes), which can be booked online easily.
On top of that, they’re one of the very few places that offer mobile at-home kinesiology sessions across Vancouver. We find this to be a solid option for those who prefer privacy or have mobility limitations.
Those who prefer to train at their facility still get to enjoy many amenities. Their training space is 5,000 sq. ft., so even during group sessions, there’s still plenty of opportunities to have some personal space.
We also appreciate that they offer free phone consultations, quite rare in this service, allowing clients to discuss first before starting anything.
And finally, we do like that they can accommodate Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) claims, making their services more accessible to those recovering from motor vehicle accidents.
They’re priced slightly higher than most options, though we still think, with what we’ve laid out so far, that the service justifies the rates.
