“From my very first experience booking my consultation for a Tummy Tuck to the aftercare, the experience was nothing short of a 10. I was lucky enough to have a surgery date 2 months out from my consult which I recognize is quite rare. My consultation addressed all of my concerns, as Dr. Macadam explained in detail precisely what my outcome would be, with of course the caveat that everyone heals differently and there are no guarantees. I was hesitant to get my surgery done, fear, nerves etc but Michelle (bless this woman) was nothing short of just amazing. She is super down to earth and has just the best personality that can ease any fearful mind. The day of the surgery I was beyond terrified, but the moment Dr. Macadam stepped into the room, I was calmed. She just has a way. I’d say it’s her confidence, you just know you’re in good hands. Now the results? I’m 2 weeks post-op and I feel and look great. Still not 100%, but trust me when I say, having a solid team such as Dr. Macadams and knowing they’re there for you, mentally allows you to heal 10X quicker. Today, despite the expected swelling and unhealed wound, I feel great. The pain was minimal, for those of you who’ve bore children, it feels like the beginnings of a contraction (at least for me) but the pain meds I took for the first 3 days took it all away. I was off the meds completely by day 4, and I felt no great deal of pain. The incision itself never hurt me throughout my journey, it was just my ab muscles. If you are considering Abdominoplasty, and are obsessed with a pretty belly button like myself and most importantly Dr. Macadam, choose her, you will not be disappointed. I will be updating the pictures on my review with before and after once the healing has settled, and that will certainly make your mind for you, if my review so far hasn’t. “I recently had an extended tummy tuck, muscle repair and liposuction with Dr Macadam. All I have to say is wow! From her bedside manner, lack of ego and just a down to earth person was refreshing. Being a guy, and a little embarrassed about how my body looked was another hurdle Dr Macadam did not make me dwell over. I was lucky enough to get a cancellation spot, had my consultation and eventual surgery approximately 1 month later. “I am a 44 yr old mother of two who was first a patient of Dr. Lennox 7 years ago when he performed a breast lift and augmentation. I had always had large breasts (34 DD) but after two children and a combined 5 years breastfeeding I was uncomfortable with how my breasts looked and felt. I could not have been happier with the outcome, and 7 years later I went back to Dr Lennox for a Tummy Tuck in April 2021. Four months post surgery I could not possibly be happier with the results. I am a 44 mother of two with what I consider a 24yr olds abdomen. The results have far exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend the procedure as long as Dr. Lennox is the surgeon. I did lots of research prior to the surgery and Dr. Lennox and Toni totally prepared me for what to expect in my recovery. Dr. Lennox suggested I rent a walker to use following my surgery and I highly recommend anyone having this operation do the same. I think my recovery was much easier having used it for the first couple weeks. I had many people recommend I look into having the procedure done in Columbia or Costa Rica and having had the procedure done here in Vancouver, 30min from my home, I could not imagine doing this in another country and having to travel within 10days. This is a major surgery and the recovery is far more difficult than breast augmentation. Any surgery I choose in the future would 100% be with Dr. Lennox or a surgeon that he would refer me to, and while I had zero complications I would never recommend anyone have this surgery in another country, the recovery is intense and you need access to proper medical care should you have complications. Furthermore I would not have been able to travel for at least a month without experiencing some kind of complications. My only regret is not doing the surgery sooner!”
